The opportunity
Our client in the mining industry is looking for an IT Business Analyst focused on financial systems. You’ll support the Business Applications project leads in planning, designing, developing, and launching efficient business systems — with an emphasis on financial reporting and analysis, Oracle Fusion Financials, and BI report creation and maintenance.

What you’ll bring
- Diploma or degree in business administration, computer science, or MIS, plus 3+ years related experience
- 3+ years deploying and supporting software implementations (cloud, hosted, on-premise)
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials: GL, AR, AP, PPM, Core HR
- Report development: Power BI, Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI report and data model development
- BI report creation and maintenance, query performance optimization
- Experience with Hyperion/EPM or similar financial planning tools an asset
- Cost-benefit and ROI analysis for proposed systems
- End-user testing, training, and post-implementation support
- Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to prioritize under pressure
